Bassel Rahmy is the chief of retail and SMEs and executive board member at ALEXBANK, overseeing the functions of SMEs, branch network management, branch business development, product development, marketing and communication, small business, alternative delivery channels, micro finance, contact centres, and retail MIS. Rahmy began his career at the Arab Bank and has a wealth of experience in retail and SME banking, having held key positions with several prominent multinational and regional banking entities. Prior to ALEXBANK, he held the post of head of distribution and premier banking with Barclays Bank Egypt; and as head of branch distribution for Societe General.
