Dao Hong Chau currently holds the position as Vice President of Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Vietnam Eximbank), in charge of Treasury Division. A banker for 23 years, he has made lots of contributions to the development of the Bank and especially contributed to shape the Bank’s treasury business. Under his leadership, Eximbank has always been the pioneer in applying and launching innovative and structured treasury products like options, futures, commodity trading, derivatives, etc. Eximbank is also among the market makers in Vietnam in FX trading, gold trading, interbank operations. With his experience and flexibility in application of various operations, Eximbank’s treasury business has witnessed outstanding growth with 50% rise in FX trading volumes in 2014, evidencing Eximbank’s increasing competitiveness.
