Choong currently heads Technology, Retail Banking Asia Pacific; Wealth and Private Banking Asia, and Technology,Asia Pacific, Europe, and America. Before joining ANZ, Choong spent six years as senior vice president for Business Technology and Consumer Banking at the United Overseas Bank Limited Group Technology and Operations, managing multiple portfolios including customer management, wealth management, cards, call centre, channels, and retail investment. In ANZ, Choong is primarily accountable for the end-to-end delivery of technology, specifically ensuring technology solutions are optimised, responsive to business requirements, and aligned to the bank's overall technology strategy.
