Edmund Yue-Yeung Poon has been chief operating officer at Dah Sing Bank since July 2013, responsible for overseeing operations and IT functions of the group. He has over 30 years of experience in operations management, project management and information technology functions, primarily covering retail and corporate banking. Prior to joining Dah Sing Bank, Poon held various information technology related roles in both financial institutions as well as technology companies, including China CITIC Bank International, Standard Charted Bank, IBM and Bank of Nova Scotia. He graduated from the University of Waterloo in Canada with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in mathematics (computer science).
