Yvonne China is currently the managing director and chief executive officer of Hong Leong Bank. Prior to this, she was the chief executive officer and managing director of RHB. Chia was conferred a ‘Fellow’ of the Institute of Bankers Malaysia by the Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia in April 2002 and is a Certified Risk Professional with the Bank Administration Institute. She started her career in banking with Bank of America, holding various positions in Hong Kong, Manila and Kuala Lumpur.
