Brian Lee currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer at the firm and holds membership in several key committees, including the Management Committee, Firmwide Risk Council, and Firmwide Investment Policy Committee. Previously, he held the position of Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, overseeing reporting, product control, and regulatory capital. Having joined Goldman Sachs in 1994, Lee advanced through various management roles within Controllers before assuming his executive position in 2017. He attained the titles of Managing Director in 2002 and Partner in 2008. Prior to his tenure at Goldman Sachs, Lee worked at Price Waterhouse from 1989 to 1994.
