Zoe assumed the role of Chief Risk Officer for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) at Citi in December 2020, leveraging over three decades of experience primarily in Risk Management within investment and corporate banking sectors. Her expertise encompasses governance, regulatory compliance, strategic initiatives, and risk management. Returning to Citi after a two-year stint at Morgan Stanley as EMEA Head of Lending, where she oversaw multiple credit risk teams, Zoe previously held various risk management roles at Citi from 2013 to 2018, including CRO for UK legal entities and overseeing restructuring portfolios. Her earlier tenure at Barclays Investment Bank spanning two decades saw her rise through the ranks in Risk Management, including roles in restructuring, commercial real estate, and leverage finance. Zoe holds a BSc Hon degree from Aston University and an MBA from Warwick Business School, and she serves as a Director on the Board of Citigroup Markets Limited and as a Non-Executive Director for Cifas, a fraud prevention organization.
