Rafe currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer of Group Transaction Banking at CIMB Group, where he oversees four key product pillars: Trade Finance, Cash Management, Securities Services, and Financial Institutions, catering to the Group’s Non-Retail clientele across CIMB’s ASEAN franchise. Previously, he served as Chief Executive Officer of CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad, responsible for managing the Islamic banking and finance operations within the CIMB Group. With two decades of experience spanning across multiple sectors, including roles at three global banks, an international asset management firm, and a legal practice, Rafe has acquired a diverse skill set from financial hubs such as London, Dubai, and Kuala Lumpur.
