Novan serves as the Co-Chief Executive Officer of Group Wholesale Banking (GWB), sharing responsibility for overseeing its division. In his day-to-day operations, he manages Group Corporate Banking, Group Investment Banking, Group Private Banking, Corporate Coverage, and Public Sector Group. Additionally, Novan holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at CIMB Investment Bank Berhad. With over two decades of experience in investment banking and corporate finance across Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Singapore, he brings extensive expertise in client relations, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements, derivative solutions, and bank financing. Before joining CIMB, Novan held roles at J.P. Morgan, where he served as Head of Equity Capital Markets for Southeast Asia and Head of Investment Banking for Malaysia.
