As the Group Chief Operating Officer, Alistair leads a team of 60,000 colleagues to ensure outstanding customer outcomes through top-tier operational and technological services. Alistair initially joined Barclays in 2017 as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Product for Corporate Banking, later taking on roles as Co-Head and eventually Head of Corporate Banking. In November 2021, he assumed the position of Global Head of Consumer Banking and Payments, overseeing the digital transformation, efficiency enhancement, and customer service excellence of these sectors.
