Rakesh Sanghvi is the Chief Risk Officer at Qatar Islamic Bank. With over 20 years of banking experience, he has previously served Ahli United Bank and Ahli Bank Qatar in senior roles in the Corporate Banking division before taking over the role of Group Head of Risk Management at Ahli United Bank until 2013. In his capacity as Chief Risk Officer, he is responsible for the Group wide remedial units seeking to maximise recoveries against budgets and maintain high portfolio quality whilst maintaining compliance with relevant legal regulatory and internal policy requirements.
