Mr. Feroz Noorani has over 34 years of experience in banking and financial services. He has held several leadership positions at major banks, his experience covering all aspects of Corporate, Investment and Islamic banks, in the areas of frontline businesses, strategy, finance, audit, risk, governance and compliance. Mr. Noorani joined Warba Bank as its first CRO in 2011, responsible for the bank-wide management of risk, control and governance frameworks, compliance with regulations and best practices. He has previously served as Group CRO at Al Hilal Bank, and Head of Group Risk and Capital Strategy at Samba Financial Group where he was instrumental in implementing and roll-out of the MENA region’s first and only Basel-IRB Approach compliant financial institution. Mr. Noorani also has a professional qualification from INSEAD, France, in the area of "Risk Management in Banks".
