Liu Xingqiang serves as Chief Executive Officer and President of Dalian Commodity Exchange. Mr. Liu holds a PhD degree in Management Science from Sun Yat-Sen University of China, an EMBA degree in Finance from Peking University. Mr. Liu has a long standing experience in the field of the securities and futures industry research, market regulation and management. From 1994 to 2006, Mr. Liu served successively as the Deputy Director General of Guangdong Provincial Reform Commission, Deputy Director General of Guangdong Provincial Securities Regulatory Committee, Director General of China Securities Regulatory Commission Guangdong Branch. In September 2006, Mr. Liu was appointed as the President and CEO of Dalian Commodity Exchange and assumed the current position in December 2012. Hewas elected as a member of National People’s Congress from 2008 to 2012.
