Shashika John is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Grindrod, a leading freight logistics and shipping company. She assumed this role in July 2024, bringing over 22 years of experience in IT and consulting. Prior to Grindrod, she served as Group CIO at RTT Logistics and held a pivotal role as IT Customer Solutions & Transformational Lead at DHL Supply Chain. She also taught IT students at private colleges early in her career. Shashika holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Informatics from the University of South Africa.
