Seah joined DBS as a director in 2009 and assumed the position of chairman in 2010. He is also presently the chairman of Singapore Technologies Engineering, deputy chairman of CapitaLand and a member of the Temasek Advisory Panel. Seah was with Overseas Union Bank (OUB) since 1977, holding several senior positions and becoming its president and CEO in 1991. He retired from OUB in 2001. He is a director on the boards of various Temasek-linked companies including StarHub and also serves on the Board of Government of the Singapore Investment Corporation.
