Aged 50, Mr. XING joined the Group in 2022 as Deputy Chief Executive, responsible for overseeing the Bank's Operation, Information Technology, Innovation, and Corporate Services departments. Prior to this, he served as Chairman of BOC Financial Technology Company Limited and Head of BOC Financial Technology Innovation Office. With a career spanning back to 2000 at BOC, he held various roles including Chief Architect and General Manager of the Information Technology Department. Mr. XING's extensive involvement in the industry includes positions such as Deputy Chairman of the Beijing Fintech Industry Alliance and Chairman of the Technical Standards Committee of the Payment & Clearing Association of China. He brings a wealth of experience in IT planning and strategy, supported by a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science and a Doctor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from Peking University.
