Ashley Bacon serves as the Chief Risk Officer at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and holds a position on the firm's Operating Committee. Reporting to Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon and the Risk Committee of the Board, he oversees risk management and compliance across various divisions, including Corporate & Investment Bank, Consumer & Community Banking, and Asset & Wealth Management. Bacon's responsibilities include managing economic risks such as credit, market, liquidity, and operational risks, along with ensuring governance and controls in each area. Joining the firm's Risk organization in 2006, Bacon has held diverse trading roles in bonds, swaps, and financing in various global offices before assuming his current position. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 1993, he traded international government bonds for Daiwa Securities. Bacon graduated with a degree in Monetary Economics from the London School of Economics.
