Stéphane Landon, appointed as Group Chief Risk Officer in December 2022 and a member of the Group Executive Committee since May 24, 2023, has had a distinguished career at Societe Generale since 1989. Over two decades, he held various significant roles within market activities and central functions, including leadership positions in Fixed Income activities in Paris and Tokyo. Notably, he served as Head of Foreign Exchange activities and Co-Head of Rates and Credit activities. Transitioning to the Group Finance Department in 2010, he later assumed the role of Group Treasurer in 2011 and became Chief Financial Officer of Societe Generale Americas in 2018. From October 2020 to December 2022, he held the position of Group Deputy Chief Risk Officer. Landon is a graduate of École Polytechnique, the French Engineering School ENPC, and the Collège des Ingénieurs.
