Ashok Vaswani has been appointed as the new CEO and Managing Director (MD) of Kotak Mahindra Bank, succeeding Dipak Gupta, who served as interim CEO and MD. Vaswani, who has over 30 years of experience, formerly served as Barclays Bank's UK CEO, global consumer, private, corporate, and payments CEO, and a member of the group executive committee. His term at Kotak Mahindra Bank is set for three years.
