Manoj Chawla is a senior banker with over 25 years’ worth of experience in risk management across a broad spectrum including wholesale bank, global markets, retail banking and operational risk management.At Emirates NBD Group, Manoj is responsible for the overall governance of all risk issues covering products, policy, risk processes, risk infrastructure and risk systems. In particular this role covers the Risk Management Framework across the Group and further the management of Risk across the Wholesale Bank, Retail Bank, Global Markets, Operations and Distressed Asset Management. He also chairs the Group Risk Committee and the Management Credit Committee, and leads the Group Risk agenda, which includes proactive management of all risk types, product programs, portfolios, risk systems and most importantly driving strategic risk management changes to enable the ENBD Group to retain a leadership position.
