As Head of Global Transaction Banking at the Saudi British Bank, Arup Roy’s responsibilities cover strategy, product, business development, operations and risk management for GTRF. Prior to his current role, Roy was the Regional Head of HSBC Africa’s Transaction Banking business, responsible for 9 countries spread across Sub-Saharan Africa. Before his stint in Africa, he was the Head of Payments & Cash Management for HSBC, India. He has more than 25 years of experience in banking and has worked in a number of senior roles across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
